St. Luke Annual Appeal - 2005

The St. Luke Foundation is currently supporting nine (9) individuals and we are asking you, our friends to support the 2005 Annual Appeal. This is the twenty second year of providing financial aid to those residents who have exhausted their financial resources and do not qualify for any form of assistance. Since 1983 the St. Luke Foundation has provided over $1,905,000 in support to our residents.

Your gift places you into an exclusive group of caring people that support our senior adult ministry.

Please support this year’s St. Luke Annual Appeal goal of $150,000.  You can make it a special gift to honor or memorialize your loved one.  Their name(s) will be published in the next issue of the “Good Tidings” newsletter and a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to all those beloved people being honored.

We are pleased that our new projects, which include a new facility in Massillon, Ohio and needed upgrades to our North Canton campus, are moving forward.  As the Capital Campaign continues, the scope of the Capital Campaign must not overshadow our continuing efforts to help our senior residents who have exhausted their finances.  The St. Luke Foundation is providing expenditures of over $12,000.00 a month for this assistance program.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN 

The "Opening New Doors" Capital Campaign is underway.  Part of the funds from this campaign will be used to build a new facility in Massillon, Ohio as part of the St. Luke Lutheran Community.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING

Please plan to join us for the next St. Luke Benefit Golf Outing at Raintree Country Club, Wednesday, June 28,2006.   Featured will be a day of golf on the 18-hole championship golf course with a cart and lunch, and a post play buffet dinner in the dining room. 

All  proceeds from the annual golf outing  are dedicated to providing financial support to St. Luke residents who can no longer afford to pay for their own care and do not qualify for Medicaid, or other government support.  The number of seniors in this program increases each year.

We are pleased to announce that St. Luke Golf Outing 2005 helped raise over $21,000 towards the Annual Appeal goal of $150,000.
